This month, we’re celebrating our fifth birthday, marking half a decade of support for children, young people and those most disadvantaged.
We’ve also this month reached the milestone of £20 million committed to charities and good causes since the Foundation was launched in 2021.
Since January 2021, we are proud to have supported over 2,000 charities and good causes, with over 100,000 young people estimated to have been directly impacted by our funding each year.
To mark the anniversary and bring to life the stories of some of these young people, we have produced a new film entitled “5 Lives” which showcases five young people whose lives have been transformed through the work of the incredible charity partners we support.

Andy Button-Stephens, Head of the Barratt Redrow Foundation, said:
I’m incredibly proud of what we have achieved since launching the Barratt Redrow Foundation in 2021. Thanks to the incredible support of our national and local charity partners, and our Barratt Redrow plc colleagues, we’ve been able to make a real difference to thousands of children and young people across the country. We’re committed to building on this success and continuing to create a lasting and meaningful difference in the years ahead.
David Thomas, CEO of Barratt Redrow plc, said:
I am very proud of the reach and impact the Barratt Redrow Foundation has achieved over the past five years. At Barratt Redrow we are committed to building homes and places that are truly sustainable, and supporting the communities in which we build sits at the heart of this ethos. The Barratt Redrow Foundation has not only provided a focus for our charitable giving, which has grown year-on-year since its inception, it has acted as a catalyst for employee volunteering, fundraising and support for local charities and good causes in the areas in which we operate.
The Barratt Redrow Foundation was first established in January 2021 to lead and grow Barratt Redrow plc’s charitable giving, and to help make a genuine and sustained contribution to the communities it serves.
Our vision is to help communities across the UK to thrive, focusing our support on children and young people and those most disadvantaged. 95% of our grants are unrestricted, with a focus on multi-year funding where possible, to maximise impact and allow charities to use the money where it is needed most.
We couldn’t be prouder of the sustained difference we are making in local communities across the country. And this is just the beginning. We can’t wait to see where the future takes us…
