Earlier this year, seven members of Barratt Redrow’s Group Legal team took on the formidable National Three Peaks Challenge- climbing Ben Nevis, Scafell Pike, and Snowdon in just 24 hours- all in support of Place2Be, one of our national partners dedicated to improving children’s mental health.
The challenge was both physically and mentally demanding. From battling cramp and sleep deprivation, to navigating steep climbs in the dead of night, the team pushed through every obstacle with determination and resilience.
A real highlight was the time spent away from the desk, which created space for genuine team bonding. Over the course of the weekend, side by side, the team uncovered new strengths, built camaraderie, and found inspiration in each other’s resilience. One colleague shared: “It’s probably been the highlight of my year at Barratt Redrow.”
Fundraising efforts were just as impressive. The team raised money through LinkedIn posts, outreach to professional networks, fundraising buckets, and practice walks with a branded flag featuring their JustGiving page. Most donations came through digital channels, with support pouring in from colleagues, friends, family, and external legal partners.
Thanks to their incredible efforts, the team raised a remarkable £20,000 (including match funding from the Foundation) for Place2Be.
