A £1 Million Commitment to Youth Homelessness Across the UK
We’re proud to launch our Tackling Homelessness Fund, beginning with a £1 million investment over three years to support young people who are already homeless or at risk of homelessness. As a Foundation of the UK’s leading housebuilder, we understand the critical importance of secure housing, especially for young people facing incredibly tough circumstances.
The fund provides unrestricted funding to seven exceptional organisations across the UK working on the front lines of youth homelessness prevention. These charities are deeply embedded in their communities and bring specialist expertise, compassion, and innovation to the challenges young people face.
We’re proud to be partnering with the following organisations:
16-25 Independent People (Bristol)
A leading youth homelessness charity in the South West, 1625IP provides safe housing, education, and employment support for young people aged 16-25. Their holistic approach helps young people build resilience and move towards independence.
New Horizon Youth Centre (London)
Based in central London, New Horizon is a vital lifeline for young people experiencing homelessness. Their day centre offers hot meals, showers, counselling, and housing advice, alongside long-term support to help young people rebuild their lives.
St Basils (West Midlands)
St Basils works with young people aged 16-25 across the West Midlands to prevent homelessness and support those in crisis. They offer accommodation, life skills training, and employability programmes, helping young people transition to independent living.
The Running Charity (Manchester & Leeds)
Using running and fitness as a tool for change, The Running Charity supports young people experiencing homelessness to improve their mental health, build confidence, and set goals. Their innovative model combines physical activity with tailored mentoring.
Rock Trust (Scotland)
Rock Trust is Scotland’s youth homelessness charity, working to ensure that every young person has access to safe housing and the support they need. They provide accommodation, education, and employability services, with a strong focus on prevention.
Llamau (Wales)
Llamau is Wales’ leading homelessness charity for young people and women. They offer housing, education, and mental health support, and advocate for systemic change to tackle the root causes of homelessness.
EveryYouth (National)
EveryYouth is a national charity that supports young people across the UK who are homeless or at risk. They work in partnership with local organisations to deliver housing, employment, and wellbeing programmes, helping young people build brighter futures.
